Privacy Policy

This policy explains what HPG Brokerage, LLC collects when you use our websites, portals, forms and text messaging, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It covers our real estate, insurance and mortgage-referral services.

1. Who we are

HPG Brokerage, LLC ("HPG", "we", "us") is a licensed Texas real estate brokerage (TREC License #9014745-BB) and a licensed insurance agency writing in Texas and Florida (Texas License #2703822). Mortgage services are facilitated through Blink Mortgage (HPG Brokerage, LLC, NMLS #1958137). This policy applies to hpgbrokerage.com and its subdomains, including the quote funnel at quotes.hpgbrokerage.com, the client portal at services.hpgbrokerage.com and the agent portal at agent.hpgbrokerage.com, and to information you give us by phone, email or text.

2. What we collect

Information you give us

Contact details: name, email address, phone number, mailing address.
Insurance quote details: property address and characteristics, current carrier and policy documents (declarations pages) you upload, vehicle details including VIN, driver details including date of birth and driver's license number, claims history, and the coverage you are asking for.
Real estate details: the homes you save or ask about, your buying or selling timeline, and the property you want to sell.
Mortgage-referral details: the information you choose to give us so a licensed loan originator at Blink Mortgage can contact you. We do not pull your credit; a lender will only do so with your separate authorization.
Account details when you use a portal: your sign-in email, the one-time codes we send you, and what you submit there.
Payment details for an insurance policy are taken by phone by your HPG advisor and passed to the carrier or its payment processor. We do not store full card or bank account numbers on our websites.

Information collected automatically

Device and browser type, IP address, the pages you view and the links you click, referring pages, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
Cookies and similar technologies, described in section 7.
In the client and agent portals: sign-in times, submissions and other activity, kept as records of your account.

Information from others

Insurance carriers and rating platforms, when we obtain quotes, bind coverage or service a policy for you.
Public records and property data, such as appraisal district and listing information, to prepare a quote or a property search.
Listing data on our home search comes from the Houston Association of REALTORS® and is not information about you.

3. How we use it

To provide what you asked for: quotes, policy placement and service, home search and real estate representation, and mortgage referrals.
To communicate with you about your request, your policy or your transaction, by phone, email and text.
To send marketing about our services, where you have agreed to it. You can opt out at any time (section 9).
To run and improve our websites and portals, keep them secure, and understand how they are used.
To comply with insurance, real estate, mortgage and other laws, including licensing, recordkeeping and audit requirements.
To prevent fraud and enforce our terms.

4. Text messaging (SMS)

Consent. When you give us your mobile number and agree to be contacted by text on one of our forms, by replying to a message, or by asking us to text you, you consent to receive text messages from HPG Brokerage, LLC about your quote, policy, property search, appointments and account, and, where you have agreed, occasional marketing messages. Consent is not a condition of buying any product or service.

Frequency and cost. Message frequency varies with your request and activity. Message and data rates may apply. Your carrier's charges are your responsibility.

Opting out. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from us. You will get one confirmation message and no further texts unless you opt in again. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at hello@hpgbrokerage.com or 832.915.0915.

No sharing for marketing. We do not share your mobile phone number or your text-messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is shared only with the service providers that deliver our messages, and only to deliver them. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are not sold, rented or shared with any other party.

Carriers. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We share personal information only as described here. We do not sell it.

Insurance carriers, managing general agents and rating platforms, to quote, place and service your coverage. Once you apply for a policy, the carrier's own privacy policy also applies.
Blink Mortgage and its licensed loan originators, when you ask us about a mortgage.
Other real estate professionals involved in your transaction (a cooperating broker, title company, inspector or lender), as needed to complete it.
Service providers that host our websites and data, send our email and text messages, run our customer relationship system, and provide analytics, under contracts that limit their use of the information to our instructions.
Independent producers who submit business through our agent portal see only the requests they submitted.
Legal and safety: to comply with law, a subpoena or a regulator's request; to enforce our terms; or to protect the rights, property or safety of HPG, our clients or others.
Business transfers: if HPG is sold, merged or reorganized, your information may transfer to the successor, which will be bound by this policy.

6. Financial privacy notice

As an insurance agency and a mortgage licensee, we collect nonpublic personal information ("NPI") about you, such as your name, address, date of birth, driver's license number, property and vehicle details, claims history and policy information. We collect it from you, from your transactions with us and with carriers, and from consumer reporting agencies and other sources with your authorization.

We share NPI with nonaffiliated third parties only as permitted or required by law: with insurers, lenders and others to provide the products and services you request, with service providers acting on our behalf, and in response to legal process. We do not share NPI with nonaffiliated third parties for their own marketing. Because we share NPI only within these exceptions, there is nothing to opt out of; if that changes, we will tell you and give you a choice first.

We restrict access to NPI to the staff and producers who need it to serve you, and we maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect it.

7. Cookies and analytics

Our websites use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences (such as saved homes and the state you write in), measure how the sites are used, and, on the marketing site, support our chat widget. You can set your browser to refuse cookies; some features will not work without them. We use standard analytics tools that report page views and interactions in aggregate.

8. Security and retention

We protect your information with access controls, encryption in transit, private document storage and passwordless sign-in for our portals. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We keep personal information for as long as needed to serve you and to meet our legal obligations. Insurance and real estate records are kept for the periods required by Texas and Florida law, which can be several years after a policy or transaction ends. We then delete or de-identify it.

9. Your choices and rights

Marketing email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or tell us at hello@hpgbrokerage.com. We will still send transactional messages about your policy or transaction.
Text messages: reply STOP at any time (section 4).
Phone calls: ask us not to call, and we will honor it and note it on your record.
Access, correction and deletion: you may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Email hello@hpgbrokerage.com with your name and the email or phone number on file. We will verify your identity and respond within the time the law allows. We may keep information we are required to retain, such as policy and transaction records.
State rights: residents of Texas, Florida and other states may have additional rights under state privacy law. We honor every request the law requires, and we do not discriminate against you for making one.

10. Children

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Third-party sites

Our sites link to others, including the Texas Real Estate Commission, the Houston Association of REALTORS®, insurance carriers and Blink Mortgage. Their privacy practices are their own, and we encourage you to read their policies.

12. Changes to this policy

We will post any changes here with a new effective date. If a change materially affects how we use information we already hold about you, we will notify you by email or through the portal before it takes effect.
